Your new role Finance sits at the centre of this organisation’smercial decision‑making. If you enjoy being close to the business, working at pace and seeing the impact of your work, this role offers exactly that.The RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll support the delivery of accurate financial reporting, strong balance‑sheet control and effective divisional performance management. You’ll work with colleagues across finance, shared services and the senior leadership team to ensure the division meets its reporting timetable and maintains high standards of financialernance.Key Responsibilities
1. Financialpliance — Work in line with group values, policies and financial controls.
2. Month‑end delivery — Support the finance team in meeting all reporting deadlines and timetablemitments.
3. Overhead management — Take ownership of overhead cost coding, accuracy and allocation.
4. Balance sheet reconciliations — Prepare and manage reconciliations, contributing to the group balance sheet submission and review process.
5. Forecasting support — Assist with producing accurate forecasts, budgets and performance plans.
6. Sustainability reporting — Coordinate quarterly and annual sustainability data submissions, ensuring accuracy andpleteness.
7. Shared service liaison — Act as a point of contact for the finance shared service centre, resolving queries and ensuring smooth processes.

What you'll need to succeed
9. Experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role
10. Strong attention to detail and confidence working with financial data
11. Good organisational skills and the ability to managepeting deadlines
12. A proactive, problem‑solving mindset
13. Strongmunication skills and the ability to work with both finance and operational teams
14. Progression toward a professional qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) is weed but not essential
