Job Description
Are you an aspiring Education Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or mental health support worker?
Would you like to work in a school that caters to children with special needs and emotional issues?
Are you a graduate or about to graduate, seeking experience with students with special needs?
We are collaborating with a primary school in High Wycombe looking for Teaching Assistants (TAs) to start in September 2025. The school is particularly interested in Psychology and Criminology graduates aspiring to become Education Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, or Occupational Therapists.
If you are passionate about working with children and those with additional needs, and are motivated for an exciting, challenging, yet rewarding role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. While some experience working with children in various settings is beneficial, personality and motivation are equally important.
The pupils have diverse needs including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), Autism, and behavioral difficulties. The school seeks committed individuals willing to stay for at least 12 months, as staff consistency is crucial for the children’s progress.
Interviews are currently being scheduled, so please apply immediately if interested. For inquiries, contact Anthony at Academics.
This role is ideal for Psychology or Criminology graduates nearing the end of their university studies.
