About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or early-career compliance professional looking to develop their skills in a regulatory environment. Reporting to the Compliance Officer, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the compliance team and help ensure the firm meets its regulatory obligations with precision and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) checks
* Investigate and escalate adverse AML results as appropriate
* Monitor internal policies and regulatory compliance procedures
* Maintain accurate, audit-ready compliance records
* Conduct compliance reviews and compile detailed reports
* Assist with compliance and risk-related projects
* Help maintain firm registration portals (e.g. HMCTS, Land Registry, Lender Panels)
* Support any other compliance-related duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Confident communicator across all levels of the business
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* A team player with initiative and a proactive approach
* High standards of professionalism and discretion
Desirable (but not essential):
* Previous experience in legal compliance or a similar role
* Law graduate or familiarity with SRA regulatory rules
