Procurement : Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for client-related business processes or for internal use. Develops and ensures execution of strategies to reduce overall procurement costs and raise the efficiency levels of purchasing activity.
Supplier Management : Manages external supplier, vendor and associated relationships. Measures supplier planned (. contracted) versus actual service levels and performance. Ensures a positive link between supplier performance assessment, corrective action, and continuous / lasting improvement. Partners with Finance, Supply Chain, Business Operations, and other stakeholders in Request for Proposal (RFP), Statement of Work (SOW) and contract phases of supplier engagement. Ensures that contracts and agreements provide high value for money.
