King Lear Music & Sound is a boutique audio production studio based in East London, delivering high-end sound design and music supervision for commercials, film, TV, digital and immersive media. We specialise in creative storytelling through audio, working with world class creative agencies, production companies and brands.
Role Overview: Junior Producer
As a Junior Producer, you'll support the production team in delivering seamless audio projects from inception through to delivery. Balancing creativity and logistics, you’ll co-ordinate internal teams and client-facing sessions while learning alongside experienced producers.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and executing audio projects, from brief to delivery.
* Coordinate schedules and studio bookings.
* Help prepare project budgets, quotes, reconciliations, and invoicing
* Act as liaison between clients, creative teams, music supervisors and sound engineers
* Manage client feedback and ensure clear communication on project progress.
* Use initiative to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
* Attend and assist in organising client events.
* Update production trackers, calendars, and important documentation.
* Support the EP, Head of Production, Producers and Music Supervisors in overseeing the lifecycle of projects.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 12 months experience in post-production, agency or production company production roles.
* Familiarity with production tools (Monday, Google, Outlook).
* A strong sense of organisation with experience creating budgets, tracking schedules, and billing.
* Excellent communication skills; adept at coordinating schedules and collaborating across teams.

* Attention to detail - especially when managing quotes, costs, and deadlines

* Basic understanding of audio post.
* Desire to learn and grow into a full producer role.
Desirable Extras
* Experience scheduling recording sessions.
* Knowledge of social media or marketing coordination (e.g., content posting, newsletters)
* Basic knowledge of sound/music terminology
* Familiarity with production pipelines.
