Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter for a client in Stafford Park. The ideal candidate will have previous experience building flat pack furniture and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling components and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. The role will involve heavy lifting. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm.
Responsibilities
* Assemble flat pack components according to specifications and drawings
* Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
* Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards
* Maintain a clean and organised work area within the workshop
* Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during assembly
Skills
* Experience building flat pack furniture
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
* Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing roles is advantageous
* Familiarity with workshop operations and safety protocols
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Manual handling
