Compliance Manager – Policy & Advisory – Salary circa £55,000
We have an exciting opportunity to join our newly established Group Compliance and Conduct Policy and Advisory team! This role is ideal for a proactive team player with strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in an FCA regulated environment in a compliance and conduct risk position. About the job:
1. Partner with Group Functions to provide regulatory compliance and conduct advice, guidance, and challenge.
2. Collaborate on high-impact regulatory programmes and develop policies supporting our regulatory responsibilities and strategic goals.
3. Support the Head of Group Compliance, Conduct Policy and Advisory, and the Group Compliance and Conduct Director to ensure effective operation of the function.
4. Partner with Group Functions on regulatory compliance and conduct matters, providing pragmatic advice and support.
5. Contribute to the development of Group Policies and Standards, including Conduct, Employee Conflicts of Interest, Managing Regulatory Change, and Market Abuse.
6. Develop and deliver training on Compliance and Conduct topics to promote understanding and embedding of policies and standards.
Skills and experience required:
1. Experience in regulatory compliance and conduct risk within an FCA regulated environment.
2. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder influence skills.
3. Good programme and project management skills.
4. Experience in policy development, standards, frameworks, and training creation.
5. A curious mindset and interest in data-driven insights and improving work processes.
