Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Blackburn, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function, ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
* Performing bank reconciliations
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
* Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
* Liaising with tenants, landlords, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
* Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc accounting duties
The Successful Candidate
* Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar
* Property sector experience is essential
* Strong working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
