Overview
The successful candidate will work closely with our current clinical educator, leading in the provision of education & professional development of all staff within critical care. Together with the units lead nurse, you will support in developing the unit's education strategy.
Responsibilities
* Work with the clinical educator to provide education and professional development for all staff within critical care.
* Support the units lead nurse in developing the unit's education strategy.
* Lead in creating an environment that values education as part of the philosophy of critical care and contribute to taking on the clinical role as senior sister/charge nurse as necessary.
Qualifications
* Experience and evidence of teaching and assessing in practice.
* Post-registration critical care course and teaching and assessing qualification.
* The ability to demonstrate vision and flair with a real passion for teaching critical care nursing; commitment to developing educational, managerial and leadership skills; ability to work in a highly pressurised environment.
* A good degree of professional maturity.
