We’re recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join our team, covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
You don’t need to come from a traditional engineering background to succeed here. This role is ideal if you’ve worked in a hands‑on, practical environment and are comfortable using tools, fault‑finding and working independently. Experience involving electrical work, joinery, mechanical tasks or installation‑based roles is beneficial and full training is provided.
You’ll spend your day installing, servicing and repairing our stairlifts in customers’ homes. Just as important as technical ability is your drive to do a great job, manage your own workload and deliver a positive, professional customer experience.
This is a role for someone who enjoys owning their day, planning their time effectively and pushing themselves to succeed. A valid UK driving licence is required as you’ll be travelling within your region, and you’ll take part in a 1‑in‑4 on‑call rota, with additional payments for call‑outs.
Schedule
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
* Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
* Regular, consistent overtime available
* Weekend availability
* 1 in 4 on‑call rota for evenings and weekends (paid if called out)
