Overview
The post is to provide support to the Extended School Supervisor in running the Breakfast Club at William Barnes Primary School. Applicants should be enthusiastic, committed, and able to form nurturing and caring relationships with children. They must understand the need for confidentiality and be prepared to undertake appropriate training where needed.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and organising of activities.
* Prepare simple breakfasts for the club.
* Support the Extended School Supervisor in running the club.
Schedule
3 hours per week, 7:30‑8:30 am (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday), term time only (38 weeks per year).
Salary
Actual Salary £1,692‑£1,718 per annum (pro‑rated based on hours). Includes paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements. Salary paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
Other Details
Post is Grade 3 SCP 3‑4. Start date: 25th February 2026 or earlier.
