About You
Your role as Activities Coordinator involves designing and executing activities that bring joy to our residents, assisting with fundraising events, and fostering social engagement. Your approach will be rooted in kindness, creativity, and a genuine desire to improve residents' lives.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in activity development. Your positive energy, excellent planning, organizational, and IT skills, along with your ability to communicate kindly and effectively, are essential. You should be considerate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.
Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All staff are required to undergo safeguarding training relevant to their role and to pursue ongoing training in related areas. You should feel confident in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation when necessary.
