About the role
Delight is looking for an engaging and reliable STEM Programme Coordinator to oversee the delivery of our STEM programme which is currently supporting 1,600 primary aged children across North England, the Midlands and London. You’ll have strong attention to detail and be skilled in coordinating, problem‑solving, and managing budgets. You will also have experience of relationship building and training people. Travelling to partner schools around England is a key requirement and the role requires occasional periods working away with overnight stays.

Key responsibilities
Coordination
* Finalise programme timetabling
* Liaise with participating schools
* Schedule teacher training sessions (England and beyond)
* Manage hotel and venue bookings
* Manage programme budgets
Resources
* Work with freelancers to design and print resources
* Oversee procurement and fulfilment
Working with Schools
* Build and maintain strong relationships with partner schools
* Deliver in‑person and remote teacher training (England and beyond)
* Replenish and refresh resources at partner schools
* Deliver resources to partner schools
Design
* Support with the development of promotional materials
* Support with the editing of promotional photos and films
Impact & Reporting
* Manage data gathering and impact tracking with partner schools
* Evaluate programme outcomes
* Write stakeholder Impact Reports
Other
* Driving licence and confidence driving a large van
* Work collaboratively within a small team

Person Specification
Experience
* Programme management and delivery (arts and STEM projects would be advantageous)
* Establishing and managing partnerships
* Delivering teacher training in person and on‑line
* Reporting and evaluating STEM and arts programmes
* Working in partnership with schools
Skills and Abilities
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong attention to detail
* Demonstrable relationship building skills
* Well‑organised, with effective problem‑solving skills
* Able to work both collaboratively and independently
* Numerate, with the ability to develop and interpret budgets
* IT literate (MS Office, excel, web, email, social media)
* Content creation literate (Canva, video & photo editing software, AI programmes)
* Able and willing to drive a van independently across England and beyond

Contract Terms
* Salary: £26,500
* Working hours: 37.5 hours per week over 52 weeks. There are periods in the year when you will be required to work weekends (additional days worked are taken as TOIL at an agreed time).
* Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays.
* Place of work: Delight office, 9b Station Avenue, Caterham, Surrey CR3 6LB. Frequent days in the office are required for procurement and fulfilment. Travel and overnight stays to host teacher training sessions and deliver resources across England are an essential part of this role and will begin immediately.
* Probation period: 4 months. Your notice period during probation is two weeks for both you and Delight.
