Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Nurse Practitioner to provide high quality clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation for patients presenting with a wide range of acute and long term conditions. The successful candidate will work autonomously as well as collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team. The primary focus for this role will be on assessment and treatment of minor illness.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will provide same dayassessment and care for patients presenting with urgent or acute clinicalneeds. This includes both telephone triage and face to face consultations. Theywill independently assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting withminor illness, minor injury, or acute exacerbation of chronic conditions,referring to investigations or external services when required.
The Nurse Practitioner will workautonomously within their professional competencies, seeking support from theduty GP as appropriate. Excellent clinical judgement, prioritisation skills,and safe practice are essential to the role. Please see full job description document.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
* Experience working in Primary Care or General Practice setting
* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
* Experience managing long-term conditions
* Previous experience in a GP surgery setting
* Training in minor illness and/or minor injury management
* MSc or equivalent in Advanced Clinical Practice
