Responsible for the overall behavior management programs for participants of Residential Homes. Completes DDS/MassHealth regulatory behavioral documentation. Trains program staff in the implementation of behavior treatment plans and protocols. Develops, monitors, and analyzes behavioral data, making recommendations for program design and delivery. Completes DDS/MassHealth regulatory behavioral documentation.
Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm - 8 pm ( 40 Hours)

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred in related discipline.
- At least 2 year¿s related experience working with the Dual Diagnosis population REQUIRED
- Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred
Essential Job Functions
- Designs, implements, and monitors progress of behavioral management programs for
participants
- Conducts formal observations of participants to collect data for assessment purposes;
Completes all relevant ISP/DHSP .
- Participates in the development of participant¿s DHSP/ISP
- Make recommendations to program design and delivery to improve participants behavioral
challenges.
- Trains program staff .
- Develops and implements specialized skills groups based on participants goals and objectives.
- Implementation with behavioral strategies and crisis intervention plans and protocols.
- Serves as a role model and coach to program staff
- Assist program staff when behavioral or social skills issues arise with participants.
- Develop and train program staff on techniques for decreasing behavioral issues
- Work in collaboration with the clinical team to ensure sound and creative clinical programming
- In collaboration with the interdisciplinary clinical team develops and implements data
collection processes
- Monitors data collection
- Participates in clinical and staff meetings, quarterly review meetings, and other relevant
meetings as assigned.
- Provides staff training and support
- Serves as a member of the agency PBS leadership team.
- Monitors and safeguards the health, well-being, and safety of individuals and in the
community.
- Reports issues and handles emergencies according to agency policies and procedures.
- Ensures the coordination between residential and Day services programs
- Serves as a mandated reporter as required by the Disabled Persons Protection Commission.
- Processes all human rights issues, incident, and accident reports in a timely manner s.
- Fosters and maintains positive relationships with families, participants and staff
- Acts in a manner consistent with organizational values, program mission, and service delivery
goals. Serves as a resource and role model for staff.
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor as they relate to the duties in this job
