Proposals Engineer

The Role
An established engineering business is looking for a Proposals Engineer to develop high-quality technical and commercial bids across a range of projects.
You’ll work closely with engineering, sales and supply chain teams to create tailored solutions, produce compelling tender submissions, and support the full bid process.
Key Responsibilities
* Review client requirements and develop technical solutions
* Produce tender documentation, including technical and commercial content
* Prepare cost estimates (materials and engineering hours)
* Support tender reviews, risk assessments and bid coordination
* Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors
* Manage multiple bids to deadline
About You
* Background in electrical, control or automation engineering
* Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and control panels
* Strong technical writing and commercial awareness
* Able to interpret specifications and identify risks
* Degree/HND or equivalent (preferred)
