The programme focus has evolved from innovation-led decommissioning towards near-term cost efficiencies, phased delivery planning, and strategic decision-making aligned with future funding constraints and regulatory requirements. This role will provide senior-level decommissioning expertise to support programme leadership in shaping and validating delivery strategy, commercial approaches, risk management, and programme integration activities across a complex engineering environment. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience from large-scale decommissioning or highly regulated infrastructure programmes, with the ability to challenge assumptions, influence strategic decisions, and help define practical, deliverable solutions.
