Support Worker (Female) – Basingstoke RG24

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and long-term Support Worker to join our warm family team in supporting our lovely 6-year-old client, who enjoys being outdoors, singing, and playing with her toys.

About Our Client & Family
* A cheerful 6-year-old with complex health needs (tracheostomy & PEG fed).
* Supported by therapies for speech, mobility, and physical development.
* Attends nursery daily and have started school in September 2025.

The Role
As her Support Worker, you will:
* Provide daily care including tracheostomy management, PEG feeding, mobility and continence support (training provided).
* Encourage her independence through play, school, and therapy programmes.
* Accompany her to nursery/school and community activities (driving essential).
* Work closely with parents and other carers as a friendly, supportive team player.
* Support the wider family with routines and practical needs.
About You
We'd love to hear from you if you are:
* Experienced – ideally 2+ years supporting children with complex or physical care needs in the UK.
* Caring, friendly, and a team player who genuinely enjoys working with children.
* Looking for a long-term role with stability and growth.
* If you are not a UK resident, you must hold a valid work permit visa.
* We also welcome PSW (Post-Study Work) students with prior healthcare experience.
* Willing and able to relocate to Basingstoke, Farnham, or nearby areas if needed.
* A driver with a full UK manual licence.
Hours & Shifts
* Minimum 30 hrs per week, with the option to increase to 40–48 hrs.
* Term time (from Sept 2025): 3pm–9pm weekdays + school runs.
* Fridays: 1pm–9pm.
* Non-school/nursery days & weekends: 12-hour shifts (rota-based).
Pay & Benefits
* £15.00–£20.00 per hour.This is a highly competitive rate, benchmarked against NHS Band 5 Nurse (4 years' experience) or Band 6 Nurse (2 years' experience).
