Full Stack Developer (PHP & React)
Location: Manchester (3 days onsite) / Remote (2 days)
We’re looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join a close-knit in-house development team driving innovation for a market leader in outsourced Employment Law, HR, and Health & Safety services.
You’ll be contributing to the development of a brand-new system (React + PHP) and supporting the enhancement of an established CRM platform. If you take pride in writing clean, testable code and enjoy collaborating with experienced developers on meaningful, high-impact projects—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
* Develop and maintain full stack applications using PHP (Laravel/OOP) and React.
* Build intuitive, high-quality user interfaces with a strong focus on usability.
* Write clean, well-structured code with unit tests and participate in rigorous code reviews.
* Optimise database queries and contribute to the overall architecture.
* Work closely with a senior, experienced development team in a supportive environment.
* Collaborate using a ticket and pull request workflow.
What You’ll Bring:
* 5+ years of PHP development experience (Laravel, OOP, Unit Testing).
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.
* Understanding of design patterns and clean coding principles.
* Solid knowledge of MySQL and performance tuning.
* Basic familiarity with Linux environments.
* Bonus: experience with AWS and DevOps tools.
