Working closely with the Finance Manager and senior leadership, you'll gain hands-on exposure to private debt structures, investor reporting, fund cashflow management, and strategic finance initiatives.
The Opportunity
As Fund Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the fund finance function across reporting, compliance, audit, and performance analysis. You'll interact with external service providers, consultants, investors, and senior internal stakeholders including exposure to the CFO and CEO.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to accelerate their career within asset management or alternative investments.
Key Responsibilities
* Review externally prepared fund financial statements and reporting packs
* Ensure compliance with fund reporting requirements, industry standards, and bank facilities
* Deliver insightful performance reporting and analysis to investors and senior stakeholders
* Support production of investor reporting and fund performance metrics
* Partner with tax advisors to ensure regulatory compliance
* Coordinate and manage the external audit process end-to-end
* Oversee fund cashflow management and investor communications
* Drive process improvement through the use of technology and automation
* Provide ad-hoc financial and analytical support across the wider business
What We're Looking For
* Newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
* Experience within financial services (funds, asset management, private debt, or similar)
* Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
* Confident user of Excel and MS Office tools
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and collaborative mindset
