We have a fantastic opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our healthcare team at HMP Leicester, a category B remand prison based close to Leicester town centre and train station. The Prison houses around 408 male patients, the majority of whom are aged between 18-40 years of age.
HMP Leicester runs a nurse lead service, you will be working with an experienced and supportive multi-disciplinary team including an substance misuse specialist NMP. Your role will be focused on supporting patients with substance misuse and acute needs, suitable applicant must have experience and feel confident prescribing controlled substance. Hours
Tuesday - 16:30 - 20:30
Thursday - 16:30 - 20:30
Friday - 8:30-20:30
Saturday - 14:00 - 18:00
We are also able to consider this as a job share
Salary
This position is a part time role working 24 hour per week, with an annual salary of up to £125,000 per annum depending on experience.
