Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our culinary operations within a vibrant hotel and 2 AA Rosette restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food and beverage and hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to manage a diverse team effectively. This role requires a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and you will work alongside the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Bar Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department at all times.
Duties
* Lead and manage all aspects of the food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of quality and service.
* Train, mentor, and develop Food and Beverage staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation.
* Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
* Continuously look to improve standards and procedures within the department, whilst delivering exceptional customer service at all times
* Ensure the training and development of all staff within the department
* Help to ensure that appropriate standards are consistently maintained, through training and development
* Liaise closely with the Chef to ensure effective communication and ensure excellent knowledge of menu dishes and training to team with menu tasting.
* Increase customer service levels and understand the importance of high levels of customer service
* Help achieve and maintain four-star AA standard
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels or restaurants.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
* A passion for food and beverage service along with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
The role comes with a competitive and negotiable salary, dependant on experience.
