Our client, a prominent national engineering design firm specializing in the nuclear sector, is seeking talented EC&I Design Engineers at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
* Translate user requirements and technical specifications into concept designs and fully engineered design solutions, working individually or as part of a small team of engineers and designers.
* Plan and execute engineering and design activities.
* Produce technical reports and specifications.
* Generate design substantiation and scoping calculations.
* Conduct site surveys and produce comprehensive survey reports.
* Perform technical reviews and risk assessments.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, adhering to relevant company procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in highly regulated environments, such as nuclear, pharmaceutical, chemical, oil & gas, or power generation, is highly desirable.
* Experience in hazardous area environments would be advantageous.
* Familiarity with Remote Handling Systems and HAZOPs is advantageous.
* Demonstrable expertise in one or more specific specialist areas relevant to the engineering discipline.
* A proven track record of successful project delivery, including roles involving influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel in defining, implementing, and delivering engineering work packages (role-dependent).
* Possession of some security clearance is ideal.
