Logistics Operative (Logistics Return Centre) - Camberley office (GU15 3YL) Telent are looking for a Logistics Operative to join the team due to an influx of work within various Network Services divisional areas. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Logistics Operative (goods-in Warehouse specialist) to join a team that are driven for ongoing success in storing and delivering key goods, parts and equipment for various mission-critical infrastructure programmes and projects across the UK. This is an onsite, depot-based role in Camberley (GU15 3YL) - all candidates must be commutable to attend Camberley daily. Please note: Telent are in the process of purchasing a new premises in Farnborough in 2026. Reporting into the Logistics Department Manager as the Logistics Operative, you will be responsible for supporting all services required by our internal and external customers within the Logistics Return Centre (LRC). You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely service delivery to meet contractual requirement, whilst ensuring inventory and transactional accuracy. Logistics Operative - What you'll do: Co-ordinate new stock into the Forward Stock Location (FSL) network using Telent processes. Identify, record, and process Quarantined parts. Receive, book-in, inspect, and verify units returned from field engineers or repair, following contract-specific DOA/RMA processes. Update Telent systems with repair data and replenish stock or present units to the warehouse. Process Logistics Order Desk (LOD) orders for dispatch. Take delivery of goods and supplies, checking for damage or shortages and escalating issues as needed. Store goods, transact movements, and maintain accurate inventory records using relevant systems such as Oracle and Remedy. Process, pick, pack, and load orders for dispatch. Arrange logistics and transportation collections and deliveries. Conduct stock/inventory audits and ensure physical stock accuracy. File records, keep paperwork up to date, and update LRC Work Instructions as required. Adhere to Telent QEHS practices, disposal processes, and consistently deliver to contractual Service Level Agreements. Respond to general queries, investigation requests, and handle escalations. Logistics Operative - Key requirements: Ideally hold a Level 1 or Level 2 Certificate/Diploma in Logistics Operations, or have equivalent experience. Experience working in a logistics environment with inventory control and data entry skills. Proven knowledge of health & safety and best working practices, including manual handling. Good computer skills - MS Office (Excel, Word), and relevant inventory systems. Ability to work under own initiative, meet deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility. Tenacious, organised, reliable, honest, and a good team player with strong communication skills. Good level of fitness and ability to work quickly and efficiently. Flexible with working hours, good timekeeping, and access to a UK driving license/vehicle. Drive and enthusiasm to succeed, with ability to build trusting relationships and contribute to project commitments.
