Role Purpose

* Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Internal Auditor/Compliance Administrator is responsible for conducting internal audits to meet the following ISO standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
* The Internal Auditor/Compliance Administrator provides independent assurance that compliance-related activities meet the appropriate regulations and internal policies.
* The Internal Auditor/Compliance Administrator supports the effective operation of the organisations compliance framework by providing administrative, coordination and monitoring across the department's compliance and audit activities.
* Working closely with the Compliance team and wider business units, the Internal Auditor/Compliance Administrator contributes to a culture of integrity, accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Audit: 

* Plan and execute internal audits across departments and business units 
* Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and procedures 
* Identify audit findings and recommend corrective actions 
* Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management 
* Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations within the My Compliance System

Compliance Administrator: 

* Manage compliance documentation for a variety of legal and regulatory reporting requirements across the Compliance function.
* Co-ordinate responses to legal and regulatory inquiries and internal business requests 
* Assist in the development, review and dissemination of compliance policies and procedures 
* Support policy implementation and training coordination

Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 

* Strong organisational and time management skills 
* Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation 
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
* Able to handle sensitive information without supervision 
* Certification/Background in Internal Audit / or a commitment towards working to an appropriate Internal Audit qualification 
* Soft skills: Active listening, analytical thinking, communication skills, ability to convey complex findings and risks to stakeholders at all levels 
* Management of ad-hoc requests as required by the business / function
