The Job You’ll Do;
* Attend equipment breakdowns and seek to reach resolution in a timely manner.
* Complete PM's against monthly plan.
* Adhere to H&S requirements whilst performing duties.
* Act as initial mentor to trainee/apprentices.
* Actively manage critical spares including cycle counts and ensuring issue of supplies is carried out for shift.
* Mentor and develop trainees/apprentices, promoting best practice techniques.
* Ensure full accuracy of shift reporting within concise technical detail and timely work order management.
* Liaise with production and provide accurate information regarding breakdowns and servicing to ensure plant operations remain efficient.
* Work collaboratively with Manufacturing and Process Engineering to provide solutions to ongoing problems.
* Seek to use condition monitoring techniques for accurate fault analysis and update planned schedules accordingly.
* Work with vendors during breakdowns and planned visits and arrange support out of hours.
* Proactively develop Maintenance Work Instructions to support creation and maintenance of procedure library.
* Actively seek root cause conclusions during equipment breakdowns.
About You;
* HNC in relevant engineering discipline or NVQ Level 4 Maintenance.
* Fully competent in both mechanical and electrical maintenance including fault finding, repair and understanding schematics.
* Fully competent with robotic maintenance and programming.
* Ability to connect and diagnose PLC programs.
