Job Opportunity: Finance Manager at Sewell Wallis
Sewell Wallis is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join an SME in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, within the Building and Housing sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager who is ideally qualified (CIMA / ACCA) or QBE. The role is hands-on and involves working closely with both the Finance and Managing Director.
What will you be doing?
* Overseeing and mentoring a small transactional team
* Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
* Managing subcontracting and CIS payments
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations
* Handling accruals and prepayments
* Conducting cash flow forecasting
* Liaising with external auditors
* Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Recommending process improvements
What skills do we need?
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA) or QBE
* Strong management accounts experience
* Ability to work in a small, fast-paced finance team
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong IT skills
