We are seeking an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive and ambitious primary school in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with pupils in their final year of primary education, helping them prepare academically, socially, and emotionally for the transition to secondary school. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across the Year 6 curriculum, with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, and exam preparation. You will maintain high expectations for progress and behaviour, while ensuring pupils feel supported, confident, and motivated to achieve their best. Assessment will be used effectively to track progress, identify gaps, and provide targeted support. You will work closely with colleagues across Upper Key Stage 2 to ensure consistency and continuity, sharing strategies and best practice. This role is ideal for a confident and resilient teacher with strong behaviour management skills and experience of SATs preparation.
