Overview
Principal Clinical / Counselling Psychologist role at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with CAMHS experience welcome to apply. Senior lead position offering clinical leadership within the CAMHS Anxiety Disorders Treatment Team (ADTT) and opportunities for transformational leadership and professional development.
Responsibilities
* Deliver psychological therapy within ADTT, providing expert leadership and professional advice for complex presentations requiring multiple interventions and high levels of multiagency involvement.
* Conduct expert psychological assessment, case formulation, risk assessment, and treatment for a designated caseload of children and young people with complex mental health needs.
* Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and supervision to colleagues; develop and oversee intensive risk management plans.
* Work in partnership with the Team Manager to uphold clinical standards and drive quality improvements that improve outcomes for children and young people.
* Lead on the development and maintenance of team support services, including advice/consultation, CYPF digital services (e.g., Young SHaRON and online resources), and online care delivery as part of the Trust’s online offer.
* Contribute to the transformational leadership group for CAMHS and participate in related development opportunities, including a transformational leadership course at Reading University and involvement in the Trust Psychology network.
Qualifications and Skills
* HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
* Experience in CAMHS, with leadership capabilities and a collaborative, compassionate approach.
