Job Description
As the HSE Officer your responsibilities are as follows:
* Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Provide guidance and training to staff on HSE standards and best practices.
* To Develop and maintain the companies ISO 14001, 45001 standards
* Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Investigate incidents and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
* Ensure all documentation and records are maintained accurately and up to date.
* Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety.
* Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry standards in Sheffield and beyond.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HSE Officer should have:
* A relevant qualification in health, safety, or environmental management.
* Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
* Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and records.
