Salary
* Basic grade: £33,000+
* Specialist: £39,500+
* Highly specialist: £48,000+
Hours & Contract
37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 08:30am – 16:30pm – Permanent

The Role
As a Speech and Language Therapist on our in‑house clinical team at Park School, you will:
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention for pupils who have experienced developmental trauma, are neurodivergent or have SEMH needs
* Work within the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working, aligning with professional bodies and governing requirements
* Hold a caseload of Speech and Language therapy cases with full clinical supervision and site lead support
* Contribute to staff training and consultation as required
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a person‑centred, empowering approach and safeguard a strong culture of care
Essential Criteria
* Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy
* HCPC registered
* Relevant experience with complex and diverse communication profiles
* Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma‑informed practice
* Experience of multidisciplinary working across a range of settings
* Experience of communicating with families, relatives and carers
* Interest in developing knowledge and skills across SaLT practice areas
* Good relationship building, analytical and judgmental skills
* Good communication skills (oral and written)
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Competent in core SaLT areas with clear understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards
* Knowledge of SaLT assessment tools, intervention types and support planning based on needs profiles
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and its implications for practice and professional management
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
* Willingness to attend training and work toward further qualifying relevant to the client group
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable
* Understanding of sensory and motor differences impacting communication strengths and needs
* Evidence of understanding the relationship between arousal levels and communication
