Maintenance Team Leader - Lead a Skilled Engineering Team
Location:HaverfordwestSalary: £40-45,000Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentShifts: 4 on 4 off Days
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation seeking a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Team Leader. This is a key role within the maintenance function, offering the opportunity to lead a committed team and drive operational efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and technicians.
* Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Support fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
* Ensure the maintenance schedule is delivered effectively and efficiently.
* Promote and uphold health and safety standards at all times.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, breakdowns, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or team leader role.
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
* Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively under pressure.
* Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
* Recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent).
* Experience in FMCG or Food Industry is preferred but not essential.
