About Meridian Water:
Meridian Water is Enfield Council's award winning, landmark regeneration project covering 85 hectares in the Upper Edmonton area which is among the most deprived 10% wards in England. The project aims to provide 10,000 new homes and 6000 new jobs within a high-quality setting.
In a pioneering move, Enfield Council has assumed the role of master developer.
Meridian Water has already delivered a brand-new train station, the Enfield Construction Skills Academy and is home to the UK’s first open–access factory BLOQs.
Meridian Water recently received £195 million of government funding to transform and improve infrastructure throughout the site, which includes new public spaces, parks, and transport links.
About the Senior Stakeholder Steering Group:
As we embark on this transformative, exciting, and challenging journey, we are looking for experienced and accomplished industry professionals to join our Meridian Water Senior Stakeholder Steering Group. As a key independent advisory body, the Group will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction, providing robust challenge, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the programme meets its vision and objectives.
Key responsibilities of the group:
1. Provide strategic guidance and oversight on the Meridian Water programme
2. Bring fresh insight and informed opinion with a view to problem solving
