SEN Teacher - Support, Teach, Transform

Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)

9:00 am - 4:30 pm (flexible working available)
Pay:
£30-£35 per hour (PAYE - case dependent)

Are you an experienced educator who thrives on helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential?
We are looking for passionate SEN Teachers to deliver one-to-one support to children and young people with a range of additional needs. This role is ideal for someone who values personalised learning and wants to make a meaningful impact every day.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Creating a Safe Learning Space: Build a calm, consistent environment where students feel secure and supported.
2. Delivering Tailored Lessons: Design and implement individualised learning plans that reflect each student's strengths and needs.
3. Working with Families: Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure continuity of care and learning beyond the classroom.
4. Encouraging Growth: Use creative, empathetic teaching strategies to build confidence, resilience, and academic progress.
5. Leading by Example: Promote positive behaviours and lifelong learning through your own actions and attitude.
What You'll Need
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE)
2. Minimum of two years' teaching experience
3. Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
4. Experience teaching across Key Stages 1 to 4
5. Excellent English skills and a background in SEN education
6. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
7. Legal right to work in the UK
8. A solid understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
