Opening in July 2023, The Mill House in Skipton is our brand new, state-of-the-art luxury care home, which will accommodate 94 residents. Although opening in July, we are actively interviewing and anticipate a start date in early July.
During induction, travel between The Mill House and Thornton Hill, Thornton in Craven may be required for shadow shifts and training.
We are recruiting 2 Hospitality Assistants for roles at 30 and 26 hours per week, paying £10.90 per hour.
Reporting to the Hospitality Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering quality catering services in compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
2. Assisting in providing a high-quality dining and hospitality experience, including setting up dining areas, serving meals, and managing beverage stock.
3. Providing excellent customer service and acting as ‘Front of House’ for residents and visitors.
4. Being attentive to residents’ needs and dietary preferences/requirements.
Required knowledge and experience include:
1. Understanding health & safety procedures, including COSHH control of substances harmful to health.
2. Previous hospitality experience with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of kitchen equipment and knives.
