Opening in July 2023, The Mill House in Skipton is a new state-of-the-art luxury care facility for 94 residents. We are interviewing immediately with an expected start date in early July.
During induction, travel between The Mill House and Thornton Hill, Thornton in Craven may be required for shadow shifts/training.
We are recruiting 2 Hospitality Assistants for our new care home – The Mill House, Skipton. Positions available at 30 and 26 hours per week, paying £10.90 per hour.
Reporting to the Hospitality Supervisor, your responsibilities include:
1. Delivering quality catering services in line with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
2. Assisting in delivering a high-quality dining and hospitality experience, including setting up dining areas, meal service, and managing beverage stock.
3. Providing excellent customer service and acting as ‘Front of House’ for residents and visitors.
4. Understanding residents’ needs and dietary preferences/requirements.
Required knowledge & experience:
* Knowledge of health & safety procedures including COSHH.
* Previous hospitality experience with basic food safety and safe use of kitchen equipment.
