Opening in July 2023, The Mill House in Skipton is our brand new state-of-the-art luxury purpose-built facility, which will be home to 94 residents. Although opening in July, we are already conducting interviews with an expected start date in early July.
During induction, travel between The Mill House and Thornton Hill, Thornton in Craven may be required for shadow shifts and training.
We are recruiting 2 Hospitality Assistants for The Mill House, Skipton. Two roles are available at 30 hours & 26 hours per week, paying £10.90 per hour.
Reporting to the Hospitality Supervisor, your responsibilities include:
1. Delivering quality catering services in compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
2. Assisting in providing a high-quality dining and hospitality experience, including setting up dining areas, meal service, and managing beverage stock.
3. Providing excellent customer service and acting as the ‘Front of House’ for residents and visitors.
4. Understanding residents’ needs and dietary preferences/requirements.
Required knowledge & experience:
1. Knowledge of health & safety procedures, including COSHH.
2. Previous hospitality experience with basic food safety knowledge and safe use of knives & kitchen equipment.
