University Hospital of North Tees Pharmacy Department is seeking a Principal Pharmacy Technician (Stores & Procurement) to lead a skilled team in delivering a safe, efficient, and high-quality medicines supply service.

Person Specification
Experience
* Significant experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
* Experience of computerised stock control
* Experience of staff management in a hospital pharmacy environment
* Experience working as a member of multidisciplinary teams
Skills
* Ability to reliably check, input and record data and to identify discrepancies
* Good working knowledge of Windows based systems, and capable of using Microsoft Office application
* Focused on patient care and the efficient and effective service delivery
* Ability to communicate effectively, have a logical approach to problem solving and to form and maintain good working relationships
* Well-developed customer relations skills
Qualifications
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
* Completed accuracy checking qualification or equivalent
* Management qualification or relevant experience of managing staff
* Knowledge of EMIS Ascribe dispensing system
