Are you an experienced and passionate Head Chef looking for your next leadership challenge? We are seeking a talented and motivated Head Chef to lead the kitchen brigade at our clients high-volume banqueting venue in Gretna.
About the Role:
As Head Chef, you will take full control of kitchen operations, delivering exceptional food for weddings, events, and private functions. You will lead a committed team, manage all aspects of food preparation and presentation, and ensure the highest standards of hygiene, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all kitchen operations for events, banquets, and weddings
* Design seasonal and bespoke menus to suit diverse events and clientele
* Lead, motivate, and train a team of chefs and kitchen assistants
* Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
* Manage kitchen budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships
* Maintain high levels of quality and consistency in all dishes served
What Were Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, banqueting or events setting
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
* Creative flair and a passion for quality, seasonal food
* Food Safety Level 3 certification (or equivalent)
