Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that inspire curiosity and creativity.
2. Teach English across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on ensuring excellent progress and attainment.
3. Monitor and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
4. Contribute to the development of the English curriculum, ensuring it remains innovative and inclusive.
5. Participate in department and whole-school meetings, sharing best practices and strategies.

7. Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events, enhancing students’ overall experience.
Requirements:
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong background in teaching English.
9. Proven experience teaching KS3 and KS4, with a track record of strong student outcomes.
10. A passion for English literature and language, coupled with excellent subject knowledge.
11. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
12. A commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
