Basingstoke Hospital and North Hampshire Hospital (BNHH) has a vacancy for a CT Clinical Site Lead to join our dedicated team of Radiographers that are offering outstanding CT services to our patients.
You will be joining the department at a very exciting time when our Radiology Department has engaged in a fully managed equipment replacement programme. Which will result in a departmental refurbishment and installation of new imaging equipment incorporating the latest technology.
BNHH has 3 brand new Canon CT scanners, 2 Prime and 1 Prism.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for leading the CT service at BNHH.
HHFT supports specialist services for rare and complex illnesses for patients from across the UK, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer and pseudomyxoma peritoneal. We undertake a wide variety of CT imaging examinations to complement these specialities including cardiac, trauma, body imaging and CT colonography. We also perform a wide range of vascular, oncological, MSK, trauma and neurological studies as well as offering CT led interventional radiology procedures and an ablation service.
We welcome applications from experienced CT radiographers with effective leadership skills who have a proactive approach to providing outstanding care for every patient. Ideal candidates will be a well organised team player with great clinical knowledge, good communication skills, with the ability to prioritise ever-changing worklists. Excellent working knowledge of CT and patient safety is essential with the ability to participate in our extended day, night and weekend services.

Training & Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. HCPC Registration
2. Degree in Radiography (BSc); DCR or relevant equivalent qualification
Desirable criteria
3. Post graduate qualification in leadership and management
4. Post graduate qualification in CT
Experience & Knowledge
Essential criteria
5. Evidence of extensive CT imaging experience
6. Previous experience working in the NHS
7. Evidence of enhanced specialist knowledge in CT procedures and equipment.

Skills & Ability
Essential criteria
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills – must be able to effectively communicate with colleagues, medical staff, patients and relatives
