Senior Mechanical Engineer Packaging (Contract)
Location:Glasgow (Hybrid 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Rate:£50 per hour
Contract:Outside IR35
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong leadership skills and expertise in rotatingequipment packaging for the Oil & Gas sector? We have an excitingcontract opportunityfor a seasoned professional to take on complex engineering projects.
The Role
As SeniorMechanical Engineer, youll be responsible for specialist design aspects of rotatingpackage equipment, supporting product development and providing client & vendor support across the full project lifecycle. Youll mentor engineers, drive standardization, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical design and provide engineering support from concept through delivery.
* Review specifications and provide technical solutions for tender enquiries.
* Manage engineering documentation, drawings, and change control processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
What Were Looking For
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years post-graduate engineering experience.
* Strong technical skills in, mechanical engineering and knowledge of Rotating Equipment
* Experience managing complex engineering projects end-to-end.
* Experience working in the Oil & Gas sector
