JOB DETAILS:
Job title: Medical Administrator / Receptionist
Contract: Bank
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm (average 7.5-hour shifts)

JOB PURPOSE:
The post holder is responsible for being the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, and maintaining high customer service standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Act as a Receptionist for Clinics
* Prepare reception area and greet patients
* Handle transactions and take payments for retail purchases
* Reconcile the till, ensure registration forms are scanned, vaccine recalls are set, and GP letters are completed
* Retrieve and file patient records, maintaining confidentiality and data protection
* Provide high standards of customer care
* Book appointments using the database
* Cover for other administrative/reception staff as needed
* Perform other duties as appropriate and in line with the position
* Follow company policies and procedures
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
* GCSEs or equivalent, with grades C or above in English and Maths
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently
* Assertive, team-oriented, critical thinker
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Driving license (desirable)
* Excellent organizational skills
