Key Stage 2 SEND Teaching Assistant – Intervention Support

Are you a compassionate, motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEND)? A warm and welcoming Catholic primary school in the heart of Selly Oak (B29) is currently seeking multiple dedicated Key Stage 2 SEND Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team.

The successful candidates will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver targeted intervention support to pupils in Key Stage 2, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis. You will help remove barriers to learning, promote pupil confidence, and support children in making sustained progress in a caring, structured setting.
We are looking for individuals who:
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Have experience supporting children with SEND, particularly in Key Stage 2
Demonstrate a positive, flexible and patient approach
Can build strong relationships with children, staff and families
Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child development
Are committed to upholding the school’s inclusive and faith-driven ethos
