Senior Engineer, Analog and Mixed Signal Design Verification Engineering – Precision Signal Chain
Take your Analog and Mixed Signal (AMS) Design Verification expertise to the next level — with global collaboration and cutting‑edge technology — at Analog Devices’ Precision Signal Chain Business Unit.
You will be part of a team of experts, each specializing in their own discipline, dedicated to developing the next generation of industry‑leading devices such as ultra‑precision amplifiers, voltage references, and converters (DACs & ADCs). When integrated, these form a complete signal chain designed to address customer challenges in system design while setting new standards in data acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
* Create verification plans to ensure that pre‑silicon design meets product specifications
* Work with design engineers to achieve high design verification coverage
* Develop and execute top‑level test cases, self‑checking test benches and regression suites
* Develop and validate high‑performance behavior models
* Verify block‑level and chip‑level functionality and performance
* Review verification results with IC designers and help debug any digital RTL and analog schematic design issues seen in simulations
* Support silicon evaluation by aiding in testbench bring‑up and comparing measurement results with simulations
Key Qualifications
* Strong foundation in key analog circuits such as amplifiers, data converters, voltage regulators, level shifters, oscillators, PLLs, power‑on resets, SerDes, switches, and multiplexers
* Proficiency in IC design CAD tools for schematic and layout entry, modeling, simulation, and verification
* Strong analytical skills and advanced understanding of electronic engineering fundamentals
* Knowledge of protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, AMBA, Memory Controller, etc.)
* Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, or TCL)
Education and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
* At least 4 years of relevant AMS Design Verification experience
Additional Skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross‑functional, global team
* Demonstrated leadership and project coordination capabilities
* IC design experience is an advantage
* Proficiency in object‑oriented programming, hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog, VHDL), verification methodologies (UVM, OVM, VMM), Verilog, and C is an advantage
