You are committed to protecting and improving the health and wellbeing of residents, workers, and visitors by effectively responding to noise and nuisance complaints and ensuring compliance with environmental health standards. What the Job Involves Your main role involves investigating issues relating to noise, nuisance, and public health, including drainage, refuse, and pests. You will assist in enforcing legislation, preparing legal notices, and possibly testifying in court. Regular duties include gathering evidence, collaborating with other teams, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. You will contribute to both proactive and reactive projects within the Noise and Nuisance Team, adapt to flexible working hours, participate in out-of-hours service, and maintain a high level of customer care according to the council’s values.
