Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with hand and power tools, as well as a background in electrical systems. This role involves assembling and fitting components in accordance with technical specifications, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the process.
Responsibilities
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine assembly requirements
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble components
* Conduct electrical installations and repairs as required
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fitting process
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
* Basic electrical experience is highly desirable
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
