Requirements
* Hold a level 3 or equivalent in childcare
* First Aid for people who work with young children
* Safe Guarding and Basic food hygiene training
* To have knowledge and understanding of Early Years Foundation stage.
* To have understanding of observation, assessment and planning and able to complete learning journeys and development paper work
* Excellent interpersonal skills and effective time management skills
* Ability to communicate, engage children\'s interest and facilitate their learning through fun play activities
* Conscientious and consistent and to be able to prioritise
* Motivated and enthusiastic and to be able to act calm under pressure
About the Nursery
The Gloucestershire Hospitals Nurseries began operating over 30 years ago and are located in Gloucester and Cheltenham. The nurseries offer full day care for 52 weeks per year, from 7.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday for children up until the age of 5. We take pride in placing people at the centre of everything we do, working together as a united team. Driven by a shared ambition to continually grow, develop, and learn, we recognise and value every contribution. By combining our experience and skills, we not only support our vibrant, diverse communities, but also support one another.
