Job Description

As Operations Administrator you will support the day to day site operation through general site, facilities, H&S and compliance activities. You will offer outstanding and organised support in a friendly environment and providing a helpful service.

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 6:00 - 14:00, 14:00-22:00 rotating

Salary: £25,214 per annum

What will you be doing?

1. Monitoring of the H&S Accident portal ensuring any accidents, incidents and near misses are comprehensively reported and actioned
2. Collating of monthly site H&S check information and issue/monitor actions
3. Note taking and issuing of Monthly H&S meeting minutes accurately and follow-up of any actions
4. Booking contractors for remedial works and communicate to site accordingly
5. Issuing of Permit to works when required
6. Managing diary for monthly contractor service/ inspections
7. Requesting quotes for site repairs
8. Scheduling BRC internal audits and communicate to site accordingly
9. Managing and tracking progress of Work requisitions (internal planned works)
10. Manage site inbound and outbound post
11. Managing meeting rooms and catering requirements
12. Site adhoc purchasing for all departments in a cost-effective manner
13. Management of site lockers and coffee fob allocation for colleagues
14. Organising hotels and transport arrangements
15. Support with banking when required
16. Support with any other duties as required from the Management team in a helpful manner

Qualifications

17. Experience of working in an administrative team in a logistics / warehouse environment
18. Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner both with colleagues and external stakeholders
19. Be a good team worker demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the organisation and team members
20. Professional, approachable and helpful to ensure smooth running of the general operation
21. Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance
22. Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work to deadlines
23. Exceptional attention to detail
24. Develops and drives best practice in all aspects of performance
25. Strong Microsoft Office skills
