An Independent school in Barnet requires a creative Drama Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. You will deliver inspiring drama lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated Drama Teacher to join our team immediately.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons, focusing on acting, improvisation, and stagecraft.
* Prepare students for upcoming performances and assessments.
* Develop students' confidence, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the drama curriculum and resources.
* Organise and potentially lead drama-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama.
* Proven experience in teaching drama at secondary level.
* Strong acting, directing, and theatrical experience.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to engage and motivate students.
* Availability to start ASAP.
* Inner London Payscale.
