Job Title: Customer Service Advisor - University of Nottingham Admissions and Registration
Location: Remote (UK)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract Details: Temporary contract from 11th August to 19th August.
Training: Full training Provided
Responsibilities:
Assist prospective students and parents with university applications and queries via phone.
Provide accurate and empathetic information about the admissions and application processes.
Ensure a professional and supportive customer experience at all times.
Record and manage information in compliance with data protection requirements.
Thrive in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
Support new team members during peak Clearing week.
Person Specification:
Must have the right to work in the UK.
Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach.
Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure.
High level of spoken and written communication.
Available for the full duration of the assignment.
Proficient in using PCs and general IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Previous experience in a similar customer advisor role is essential.
Technical Requirements:
Personal device running Windows 11 or above (Apple devices, Chromebooks, and tablets not compatible).
Up-to-date antivirus software installed.
Functioning headset (speakers not permitted).
Access to a quiet, distraction-free working environment.
