Aircraft Electrical Fitter Location: Holyhead, Wales (onsite) Contract: Contract until 31/12/2026 (possible extension) Hours: 40 hours per week | Shift pattern (to be confirmed) Rate: £46.30 per hour Umbrella / £34.61 per hour PAYE Security Clearance: BPSS (to be completed prior to start) IR35: Inside IR35 About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrical Fitter to support maintenance operations on a fleet of rotary aircraft within a military aviation environment. This is a hands-on role working across both line and base maintenance, ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities Provide engineering operational support to flight operations Carry out maintenance inspections and repairs as directed Perform electrical and avionic maintenance in accordance with OEM instructions Work on aircraft systems both on-aircraft and in workshop environments Support aircraft movement and hangar operations, including general housekeeping Ensure compliance with safety and airworthiness standards at all times Essential Requirements Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionic systems Experience using specialised test equipment for electrical/avionics systems Up-to-date knowledge of: Flight/Airport Operations Aircraft Line Maintenance Aircraft Base Maintenance Completed aircraft maintenance apprenticeship (or equivalent) Proven experience in base maintenance and flight operations Desirable Skills Knowledge of UK Military Aviation environments Understanding of EASA Part 145 and Part M regulations Experience working on rotary aircraft platforms (e.g. H135/H145) If you think this could be a new and exciting career opportunity for you and you would like to learn more or just for an initial, no-obligation conversation please contact me on 07732 694 243 or you can apply directly by following the Easy Apply link and I will contact you as soon as I receive your contact details.
